Help Establish a Beaumont Family Resiliency Fund

A new Beaumont Family Resiliency Fund is a way for our community of students, staff, neighbors and businesses to support students at Beaumont Middle School who are experiencing emergencies that may impact their overall well-being and ability to be successful in school. The Beaumont Family Resiliency Fund was established in the fall of 2020 to support Beaumont students and their families experiencing financial hardships that impact a student's overall well-being and ability to be successful in school.

The Fund provides resources-- gift cards for groceries/household supplies, utility assistance, and youth personal hygiene kits-- to families of students at Beaumont Middle School.  The Fund is an effort of the Beaumont PTA, in partnership with Beaumont administration & counselors.

Please contact one of the counselors at Beaumont Middle School.  They will talk with you about your family’s needs.  They will make a request of the PTA for funds based on your needs.  They will not share your name with the PTA.  The PTA will work with counselors to provide gift cards and/or utility assistance as requested.

The Fund is “first come, first served” and wants to assist as many families as possible. Counselors can ask for what a family needs in grocery store gift cards and/or utilities assistance up to $300.  Families may receive assistance only one time.  In spring 2021, PTA will decide if the Fund has enough money from donations to fund additional, repeat requests from families.

PTA Executive Board

The overall purpose of the PTA is to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we believe additional work is needed to support those who are experiencing emergencies that may impact their overall well-being and ability to be successful in school.
